New Blues Tune Added!
Go Right To New Tune
Recent Discovery! The Evolution Of A song... I was looking through some old cassettes for some blues reference tracks and came across the original version of my song Incessant Love which at the time I recorded it (around mid 1980's), had a working title of What Can I Do. That was my first time recording in a real studio! Bear in mind that this file is copied from a very old cassette which was originally copied from a two track tape deck and now transferred from a boombox to MP3 form, so the sound quality isn't very good, but it's a neat snapshot in time of my music! This is also my first attempt at vocals - main and harmony. I don't consider myself a singer, but singers were hard to come by in those days in Santa Fe so I gave it a shot. The vocals seem rushed, but I guess at that time, that's the best I could come up with! There was actually one other version of the song between this one and the final one with a more rock / metal approach. I don't have a recording of that version though, but I remember playing it with a band in Albuquerque. What Can I Do / Incessant Love-(Click to play)
MP3 samples From My Angel Edge Revisited CD
"On the Angel Edge Revisited CD, I wrote / composed / arranged all the music, and either wrote or co-wrote all the lyrics with producer Wayne Dotson. I also played bass guitar, did some of the keyboard parts, sang lead vocals on Realm Of Darkness, and Will You Be There; and harmony vocals on Broken Hearts And Shattered Dreams."

I played through the whole song and just let the music move me as I always do on my solos. The engineer called me into the control room and said "I think you'd better give this a listen..." Needless to say we decided to leave it as an instrumental. (Thank goodness! I didn't think I'd ever finish the lyrics anyway!" Realm Of Darkness-(Click to play sample) "A song about someone trying to hold on to what's left of a dying love and keep it alive. This was a fan favorite. " All That's Left Is Goodbye-(Click to play sample) "Tired of a bad love...you move on, and then she wants back. Now you get to say - no more lies...baby don't even try..." All A Game-(Click to play sample) "A song about a girl who thinks love is just a game. But the tables can turn!" Will You Be There-(Click to play sample) "A lovers devotion in question. This was another fan favorite and I got tons of e-mail about this song."
